Three D.C. police officers were shot and one suspect was pronounced dead in Northeast D.C. on Florida Avenue, according to police. News4’s Juliana Valencia reports. 

A man who shot and killed a 13-year-old boy after he suspected him of breaking into cars in their neighborhood in Northeast D.C. last year was convicted on Friday of manslaughter and found not guilty on a second-degree murder charge.

A man convicted of manslaughter in the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old boy suspected of breaking into cars was sentenced Friday. News4’s Paul Wagner reports.

Amtrak police described the stabbing as a domestic incident. The victim was stabbed about 1:15 p.m. and was taken to a hospital.

One person is in custody and the Amtrak Police Department is investigating.
